The Lord Byng Senior Chamber Choir spent early April in Spain's Costa Brava region competing with dozens of groups in the annual international choral competition.
After it was all said and done, the choir from the West Point Grey high school ––the first Canadian team to do so.
"It was also the first time in 40 years that Canada entered the competition, making the choir’s grand prize win a truly historic moment," reads a news release from the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»School Board.
The spent months preparing for the competition, learning songs in different languages and dance moves for their performance.
