If your Easter weekend plans included a bike ride along the seawall, you’ll have to make a minor adjustment to your route.
The 鶹ýӳPark Board announced today that the Stanley Park seawall is now closed to bikes. Although the closures extend past English Bay to Hornby Street, cyclists are encouraged to use Stanley Park Drive and Beach Avenue.
UPDATE: To enable physical distancing, the Stanley Park Seawall is now closed to bikes. The closure extends past English Bay to Hornby Street. We remind cyclists to use Stanley Park Dr. & Beach Ave which are closed to vehicles. Please ride safely.

Those streets remain closed to vehicles following the Park Board’s announcement earlier this week that Stanley Park would be off-limits to motorists indefinitely.
These road closures, as well as today’s new measure, are intended to reduce congestion both in the park and on the seawall, making it easier for park visitors to practise physical distancing while getting fresh air during the COVID-19 pandemic.
REMINDER: Please ride safely on Stanley Park roads.
