麻豆传媒映画police are seeking information after a semi-automatic rifle was found in some bushes in Stanley Park.
The gun was found near Lost Lagoon, on multiple social media platforms. Now the police want to find out who owned it.
"On March 18, a local resident found a semi-automatic rifle, ammunition, and magazines in bushes," reads a post from the VPD on social media.
In a photo posted online, the firearm appears to be a T97-NSR. In , the federal government announced additions to the list of prohibited assault-style firearms and included the EMEI T97-NSR in the update.
The VPD is now investigating how the semi-automatic rifle ended up in the park.
