Emile Williams, 33, is wanted for an alleged assault while he was out on statutory parole for manslaughter.

Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»police are seeking a man convicted in 2013 of manslaughter for an alleged assault last week.

Emile Williams, 33, was convicted in the death of man in 2011. He's on statutory parole and was living at a Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»halfway house.

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Department has been searching for him since June 26 after he allegedly assaulted and threatened someone, according to a VPD press release.

"He is Indigenous, stands five foot nine, and weighs about 200 pounds. He normally shaves his head," says the VPD in the release.

Because he has a violent history the VPD advises people should call 911 if they see him. He's wanted on a B.C. warrant and Canada-wide for a breach of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act.

Williams was of Tyler St. Paul in 2011 in a Manitoba prison.
