Police are searching for a man suspected in seven different robberies in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»in one day.
The robberies all took place on Jan. 15, 2022, according to the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Department (VPD).
In Vancouver, the suspect allegedly entered the Marine Gateway Liquor Store at Southwest Marine Drive and Cambie Street at 6:45 p.m. and brandished a knife while demanding cash.
The employee called 911 instead and the man fled the scene without taking money.
Just half an hour later, around 7:15 p.m., the man was seen in the London Drugs at Granville and West Georgia streets in downtown Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and allegedly demanded money.
The VPD is working with the Richmond RCMP on the case as they believe the same man committed five robberies the same day in Richmond; police did not release details about those cases.
The man is described as a white male 25 to 35 years of age. At the time he had short hair and either a moustache or beard. He was wearing a puffy black jacket, a white t-shirt and dark pants.
