The wait seemed like forever, and then Thursday came the news that Uber and Lyft were approved to operate in the lower mainland and Whistler, B.C.
Less than 24 hours later, Uber revealed they are starting service immediately.

2. Survey: 鶹ýӳhas the 2nd least affordable housing market in the world
According to an international survey, 鶹ýӳhas the second least affordable major housing market in the world. 🏠
The 16th Annual Demogaphia International Housing Affordability Survey looked at 92 major housing markets around the world and ranked them based on middle-income housing affordability.
3. A B.C. winery employee was fired for accidentally dumping 5,680 litres of wine

A former employee of one of the largest wineries in the Okanagan was fired after he accidentally dumped 5,680 litres of Sauvignon Blanc down the drain. And it wasn't the first time he had made the same mistake.
