A Vancouverite discovered he was a millionaire after returning home from a big trip.
David Loncaric expected to come home to the post-holiday blues after his holiday when he learned he won $1,000,010 from the Lotto Max draw.
“I just returned home, and I was unpacking,” he recalled, realizing he had won. “I remembered I had this ticket to check. I didn’t believe it! I thought I was going to faint!”
Loncaric checked his ticket with the BCLC Lotto! and was most excited to share the news with his wife and family.
“I showed my wife and then called my parents and family. They didn’t believe me!” Loncaric said in a BCLC media release.
The 鶹ýӳresident wants to take some “extra trips,” including one to visit family in Australia.
Loncaric said he feels “excited and grateful" to be a winner. He purchased the winning ticket at the Shell gas station on Main Street and East 2nd Avenue in Vancouver.
