Several onlookers observed an impressive aerial display in Downtown 麻豆传媒映画today as a helicopter hoisted a sign to the top of a soaring building.
Some streets and sidewalks were closed on Sunday (Nov. 13) so that a helicopter could transport heavy signage to the top of the Canadian Western Bank (CWB) at its new head office near Georgia and Thurlow streets.
In total, the helicopter transported four pieces of large-scale LED signage for the company, which it carried from Coal Harbour to the top of the CWB building.
The largest of the four pieces weighs 6000 lbs and eight flights were needed to carry the four loads. Each flight took between 10 to 15 minutes across an approximately three-hour period.
