An employee at a Real Canadian Superstore in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»has tested positive on a presumptive test for COVID-19.

In a statement, Loblaw Public Relations reports that one of the team members at the Real Canadian Superstore 3185 Grandview Highway location in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»tested positive on a presumptive test for COVID-19.

"We understand that you may have questions and want to assure you we take your safety, and the safety of our team, very seriously," the company writes. "Please note, the team member has not been in the store since April 9th."

Loblaw adds that a number of protocols are in place at the store-level, which include daily sanitization and social distancing practices to minimize the risk of exposure to customers and team members.

While the store was closed for a thorough cleaning, it has since reopened.

Loblaw will work with the local public health team on any further directions.
