A recent poll finds that the lion's share of Vancouverites want Ken Sim to be the next mayor.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» polled 1713 readers and asked the question: Who should be the next mayor of Vancouver?
ABC Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»candidate Ken Sim received the majority of votes, with 47.93 per cent. Incumbent Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»Mayor Kennedy Stewart followed in second, with 16.68 per cent of the total votes.
Nearly 13 per cent (12.78%) of voters were undecided, while roughly as many readers (12.61%) chose TEAM candidate Colleen Hardwick. Nearly six per cent of voters selected Progress Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»candidate Mark Marissen.
Just over two per cent of voters chose NPA candidate Fred Harding.

The poll ran from Oct. 11 to Oct. 15 and of the 1713 votes, we can determine that 1114 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:
Results are based on an online study of adult Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» readers that are located in Vancouver. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 2.36%, 19 times out of 20.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» uses a variety of techniques to capture data, detect and prevent fraudulent votes, detect and prevent robots, and filter out non-local and duplicate votes.
