The has released more information about this summer's events.
The annual fireworks festival will see three nations launch rockets into Vancouver's sky between July 20 and 27.
The shows start with , followed by , and end with the . Each event will be preceded by a Red Bull air show.
Portugal's team is Macedos Pirotecnia; the Macedos family started in the fireworks business 90 years ago with Joaquim da Silva Macedo.
"[His son and grandchildren] now manage the company and have adapted modern methods and expanded nationally and internationally to pyrotechnics markets and competitions representing their country and proud history,' reads a write up about the team.
Malaysia's has been around since 1993 and produced more than 100 major events, according to their website.
"Our aim is to surprise and delight audience or spectators across the globe," states the company on their website.
Pyrotex Fireworx promises to represent the U.K. with a boundary-pushing show. Their website notes they are "the U.K.'s most-awarded firework display company."
While the fireworks are visible for free from all over the city (and parts of North Vancouver) there is official seating available. Pre-sale tickets for the grandstand, lounge and seats at Inukshuk Point are on sale now.
