A Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»street artist known for his grieving sculptures is debuting his first solo show.
Lupo started making his miniature and life-sized figurines last year, placing them around Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»in honour of the people he lost to violence, overdose, or suicide. The hunched over statues have been dubbed #belovedghosts by locals.
Now, the artist is having his , displaying artwork made in memory of those Lupo has lost to overdose and police violence.
"I'd Rather Be Dancing" is a collection of finger paintings, portraits, and cement sculptures that will be displayed at The Well inside the City Centre Motor Hotel on Oct. 14
