Bridget Wilke and Sloane Wilke only started playing music a year-and-a-half ago, but you wouldn't know it watching their latest video.

Bridget is eight-years-old and in grade three, while her sister, Sloane, is seven-years-old and in grade one; they both attend Aspenwood Elementary. To stay positive during COVID-19 isolation, the girls created a video of them singing a mashup two Fleetwood Mac songs: "Landslide" and "Everywhere."

The pair were inspired by two artists on YouTube - Megan Davis and Jaclyn Davis - who created the mashup called the "Fleetwood Mac Mashup."

"They love making music and started playing a year and a half ago," explains the girls' mother, Candice. "Since we have a lot of time at home, we might as well make the best of it!"

Candice adds that the beauty of the Davis' mashup inspired the family to try learning it while in isolation.

"We live in Port Moody and our neighbours have a Facebook group that started putting rainbow images on their doorways, windows and  sidewalk chalk rainbows on their driveways to remind everyone around us to be happy, stay positive and self isolate," adds Candice.

"Our girls decided to wear their rainbow pyjamas and put out a song for everyone to enjoy in lieu of images. It made everyone smile and was our way of letting people know that self isolation is a time to regroup, focus on family, make art, take a slower approach to life and send positive vibes instead of fear into the community! We are all in this together."

In order to stay busy, Candice says the family plays games, makes music, does crafts, hikes trails and jumps on the trampoline in the backyard.

"We have close friends and family members who are healthcare workers on the front lines so we wanted to send them some love from self-isolation while they do their job to help us all," she remarks.

"We can stay home for them while they go in for us."
