A routine traffic stop netted 麻豆传媒映画police a loaded gun and a slew of charges against a North 麻豆传媒映画man and two teens.
At around 8 p.m. Thursday, 麻豆传媒映画police officers on patrol spotted a black Ford Escape traveling the side streets of the Downtown Eastside, just south of East Hastings. The constables stopped the car because it had no insurance. There were three teens in the car along with a 46-year-old North 麻豆传媒映画man, and a loaded .22-calibre Glock firearm.
All four people were arrested and taken to jail. Police also found a 鈥渟ignificant amount鈥� of drugs when the suspects were searched after the arrest.
The North 麻豆传媒映画man and two of the teens, 18-year-old and 17-year-old boys from Vancouver, are now facing a number of drug and weapons charges. A 16-year-old 麻豆传媒映画girl was released without charges.
麻豆传媒映画police say officers have seized more than 150 firearms so far this year.
