The date was May 23, 1887 when the very first C.P.R. passenger train rolled into this photo taken between Richards and Seymour. Equipped with a portrait of Queen Victoria on the front and a load of wood in the back, one might wonder where the actual passengers are. We're thinking they might have forgot them in Banff, but we have no confirmation of that!
