Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»has been knocked far out of the running for the title of "sexiest" city in Canada, according to a new ranking—but another local city continues to sit just shy of the top spot.
is an online store for adult novelty, intimacy, and lingerie products. Each year, it releases a report that "showcases the most passionate cities in the country."
How do they determine which cities have the most passionate residents?
The company searches all cities and towns with over 50,000 people to collect data for its interactive "sex map." It then ranked the sexiest cities in Canada according to purchases of sex toys and pleasurable products from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2021.
In its 10th edition of "Canada's Sexiest Cities," Calgary owns the coveted top spot for the second year running. Report authors note that Calgarians "most purchased products were the highly-rated Satisfyer Pro 2 Air Pulse Stimulator and premium toy We-Vibe Chorus Couples Vibrator." Additionally, the "French maid" was the most highly sought-after role play costume.
Surrey was the runner-up, and PinkCherry notes that the city has a penchant for handcuffs, which are "a great companion to one of their top-selling toys, the Magic Wand Rechargeable."
These cities are followed closely by Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Edmonton, making up Canada's Top 5 Sexiest Cities.
Last year, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»ranked 16th on the list. However, the city has taken a dramatic nosedive in rankings this year, dropping to 202th out of 294 cities.
