A beautiful house designed by one of Vancouver's most famous architects is on the market.
The house at 4567 Connaught Dr. features a variety of luxury elements, but none are as stunning as the outside, where natural stone and a garden create a peaceful and secluded spot in the middle of Shaughnessy. There's even a small waterfall.
While architect James K.M. Cheng has plenty of residential towers to his name, this is one of his smaller designs - a 6 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom house built in 1997. Cheng would go on to be awarded the Order of Canada in 2012 for his architectural work (which includes the Living Shangri-La, aka the tallest building in Vancouver).
Inside the home has plenty of light with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pond which sits outside right at the edge of the house.
