A 19-year-old man is facing sexual assault charges related to two separate, public incidents this summer.
The first occurred on July 6 around 7:30 p.m. when a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while on the escalator at the Granville SkyTrain Station, according to the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Department (VPD).
The suspect fled the scene. Transit police began an investigation at the time.
The second incident was just a day later, on July 7. Around 2 p.m. a 38-year-old woman reported being assaulted on West Broadway near Ash Street.
The VPD and Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Transit Police were both involved in the investigations, which led to the arrest of Bryce Michael Flores-Bebington. He was arrested by the VPD Thursday morning and faces two counts of sexual assault. He is currently in police custody and will be in court Oct. 13.
