Thieves have looted the Surrey Christmas Bureau, which was already struggling to receive enough donations for the holiday season.
Surrey RCMP announced Wednesday they are investigating a break-and-enter that resulted in the loss of three laptops and $6,000 in gift cards at the Christmas Bureau, a charity that supports families in need.
“To have an incident like this occur against a charity that works hard to support families during the holiday season is deplorable,” says Inspector Gurmakh Parmar of the Surrey RCMP. “I encourage anyone with information about this incident to contact police and help ensure we can support those that support the vulnerable in our community.”
The Grinch visited early this am & stole all the gifts for teens. They desperately need Gift Cards & gifts for teens. You can drop off gifts at the Toy Depot (old Stardust) at 10240 City Parkway any weekday (preferably soon) before 5pm, it would be appreciated.
