The last weekend in August is shaping up to be a warm and sunny one in Vancouver, but before we can break out our shades and make plans to hit the beach, we're going to have to get through a few cloudy and wet days.
Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud on Wednesday (Aug 25) with a high of 23 C. The clouds will settle in overnight and linger for the following couple of days, forecasts the national weather agency.
Thursday brings with it a chance of showers in the morning, with showers on tap in the afternoon. A chance of showers is expected again Friday morning, before the skies clear overnight to lead us into the weekend.
While daytime temps Thursday and Friday should hover around the 19 C mark in Vancouver, both weekend days are forecast to be clear and full of sunshine, with a high of 22 C each day.
