Sun and smoke return to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»skies on holiday Monday

We'll be seeing rain in the forecast again soon, though.

This weekend's cloudy, moody weather is expected to clear out today, making way for a return of sunshine and more smoke on the B.C. Day Monday.

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»forecast for Sunday (Aug. 1) calls for mainly cloudy conditions and a slight chance of showers in the early morning, according to Environment Canada. The clouds should clear this afternoon, but skies will be hazy and smoky Sunday afternoon.

Sunday's high in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is expected to hit 26 C, with a Humidex high of 32 C.

On Monday - the B.C. Day holiday - Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is poised to see plenty of sunshine with smoke.

The sunshine will stick around for a three-day streak, and daytime highs will hold steady at 26 to 27 C.

Clouds and a chance of showers drift back into the forecast starting Thursday.
