Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­park establishes one-way walking routes

Getting some exercise in Garry Point Park has been made into a one-way affair to encourage physical distancing.

The City of Richmond has established one-way routes in the Steveston park and has created a map to show how people should walk to avoid coming in close contact with others.

The southwest corner is currently blocked off with fencing for a temporary film set.

Public health officials are asking everyone to keep two metres (six feet) away from other to limit the spread of COVID-19.

All parks and trails remain open in Richmond, but both city and school district playgrounds have been closed, many of them covered in yellow caution tape.  

Washrooms in parks remain open as well.

The city has created a which lists all services and facilities affected by the COVID-19 health crisis.
