Don't be fooled by Monday's sunshine and balmy temps: Later tonight Metro 麻豆传媒映画is due to get some serious rainfall that will carry over into Tuesday.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the region cautioning a frontal system over B.C.'s north and central coast is travelling southward. The system is expected to land on the west side of 麻豆传媒映画Island Monday afternoon and arrive at the Lower Mainland Monday night.
Over the south coast, the frontal system will become entrenched overnight and through Tuesday afternoon. During that time, rainfall amounts of 50 to 75 mm could occur over most of Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and Howe Sound, according to Canada's weather agency.
The special weather statement applies to the following locations:
- Metro 麻豆传媒映画- central including the City of 麻豆传媒映画Burnaby and New Westminster
- Metro 麻豆传媒映画- North Shore including West 麻豆传媒映画and North Vancouver
- Metro 麻豆传媒映画- northeast including Coquitlam and Maple Ridge
- Metro 麻豆传媒映画- southeast including Surrey and Langley
Until the rain arrives Monday night, Vancouver's weather today is forecast to be sunny with a high of 14C. Tonight's low is 9C and tomorrow's high 12C. Tuesday night is forecast to be windy near the water, with the temp holding at 12C.
