Passengers using t today are being warned of longer lineups at pre-board screening and security checkpoints.
YVR is expecting increased wait times at the screening and security areas of the airport today.
The Richmond News has asked YVR to clarify if the delays are being caused by a shortage of Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) staff.
Passengers are asked to please plan ahead and arrive early and are being encouraged to check the status of their flight on their airline’s website or the flight information on , before coming to the airport.
