SkyTrain alert: Significant delays due to medical emergency, says TransLink

The Millennium and Canada lines are not affected.

TransLink says there are significant delays due to medical emergency on the transportation network on January 30, 2024.

A medical emergency has halted service to the 22nd SkyTrain Station, according to TransLink. 

Since 9:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, the Expo Line service between Edmonds Station and New Westminster Station has been suspended due to a medical emergency at 22nd St. Station, the transit authority shared in a post on X.

TransLink says Expo Line customers travelling westbound must transfer to bus service at New Westminster Station. Customers travelling eastbound will have to transfer to the bus service at Edmonds Station.

The Millennium Line and Canada Line are unaffected and provide regular service.

The Millennium and Canada lines are not affected. 

At the same time, the 28/130/222 Phibbs Exchange detour began at 8:50 a.m. and will continue on its "regular route to Hastings & Hwy 1 then continue Hastings, Renfrew, McGill, Ironworker's Bridge to resume regular route due to traffic."
