The week of Feb. 7 might start out a little cloudy and wet, but over the next few days you might be reaching for your sunglasses in Raincouver.
The Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast calls for clouds and morning showers Monday, followed by a cloudy afternoon with light winds and a daytime high of 9C.
Though we can expect to see much the same on Tuesday, with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon and overnight, by Wednesday Vancouverites could be welcoming the sun and rising temps that might feel downright spring-like.
Temps will hover in the 8 to 9 C zone until the weekend - with full-on sunny days forecast for Thursday and Friday - then Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud Saturday with a high of 14 C.
While we have had chilly overnight lows and some colder days, in its recently-released February forecast, The Weather Network indicates British Columbia will be seeing warmer temps and less wintry conditions as the weather shifts this month.
And while the report notes that it is "difficult to draw up a forecast map for a month that will feature such a temperature roller-coaster across much of the country," meteorologists expect temperatures to sit on the warm side of the seasonal average across B.C.
