Oscar Csaszar's body has been found, according to Ridge Meadows RCMP.
"On Monday, August 7, 2023, the search for Mr. Csaszar led police to an area near the Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge border, where the deceased was discovered shortly after 11 p.m.," state police in a press release.
Csaszar's death is not considered suspicious.
"We offer our sincerest condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Mr. Csaszar during this incredibly difficult time," states Insp. Adam Gander in the release. "We also thank the public, community partners and volunteers for their assistance."

Oscar Csaszar's family and Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»police are asking for the public's help finding the 76-year-old man who's been missing for days.
Csaszar was last seen around 11 a.m. on Friday, August 4 in Maple Ridge when he went to get a newspaper. He was seen at a gas station, where he was told there were no newspapers available. He didn't return home.
"We are extremely concerned about his safety and wellbeing," says his son, Bence, in a press release. "If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please come forward and help him come home. He has underlying health conditions, including asthma."
"He will likely be confused and disoriented but he is a stubborn dad and won’t ask for help," Bence adds.
Ridge Meadows RCMP and search and rescue teams have searched the area on foot and with a helicopter, but no sign of Csaszar has been found.
Fraser Health, transit authorities, and CP Rail have all been made aware as well.
"We are now expanding our search across Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and are asking for the public’s assistance to locate Mr. Csaszar," states RCMP Inspector Adam Gander in a press release.
Csaszar was last seen wearing a light green 'Puma' shirt with the company's cat logo on the chest. He was also wearing a Nike jacket, jeans and red and blue running shoes.
He's described as a 76-year-old white male standing 5'2" with a slim build. He's balding with grey hair.
