Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini recently tweeted about the city's complete lack of ride-hailing services.

He remarked how there are 31 NHL cities, yet Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is the only one that doesn't have options for its residents and visitors. In addition, he remarked that the Government of British Columbia ought to listen to its residents instead of the taxi lobby.

Following this, he asked followers to retweet the message if they agreed.

The NDP's election platform promised to bring the service into the Lower Mainland in 2017; however, it is almost the end of 2018 and the services aren't any closer to being implemented.

This isn't the first time that Aquilini has tweeted about ride-sharing services, either. In fact, the business man tweeted about the issue back in April. Back then, he mentioned that hundreds of cities offer both Uber and Lyft. Further, he added that people visiting always implore him as to why the city doesn't offer it.
