A rain and a wind warning was issued for Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Nov. 14.
The wind warning covers:
- City of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€” including Burnaby and New Westminster
- Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€” southeast including Surrey and Langley
- Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€” southwest including Richmond and Delta
- North Shore — including West Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and North Vancouver.

Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring, according to the weather statement. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
A strong cold front will approach the south coast this evening. Ahead of that, strong southeasterly winds of 70km/h, gusting to 90 km/h, will develop over exposed coastal sections and the southern section of Howe Sound.
But winds will ease overnight as the cold front moves out of the region.
A rainfall warning is also in effect. The cold front is expected to bring heavy rain to the region today through tonight.
The rain warning covers:
- Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€” northeast, including Coquitlam and Maple Ridge
- North Shore — including West Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and North Vancouver.
