Did you enjoy Sunday's clear skies, bright sun, and warmer temps? Unfortunately, the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast for the week ahead returns the region to the land of rain, rain, and - you guessed it - more rain.
Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»will see increased cloudiness starting Monday (Jan. 10) morning, followed by periods of rain and winds, according to Environment Canada.
Rain remains in the forecast clear through Thursday, with Friday offering a bit of a respite - albeit a cloudy one.
What isn't sticking around, however, are last week's frigid temperatures.
Sunday's balmy 6C is set to be matched Monday, then upped by Tuesday's even more spring-like 10C daytime high. For the rest of the week Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is expecting highs of 8-9C.
Tuesday is poised to have the warmest overnight temp Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»has seen in a while, hitting 9C. Sunday night it will drop down to 0C, but that looks like the last time the region will see temps right at the freezing mark all week, with nothing below zero in the forecast.
