Emotions ran high in Downtown Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»today as a group of protestors blocked off the Granville Street Bridge in both directions following a rally at the B.C. Supreme Court.

The demonstrators were standing in solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en nation by occupying the bridge hours after the protest began. As of 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 12, however, the bridge is now open to traffic.

Earlier today, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»police stated that the protest was blocking the Granville Street Bridge in both directions, and they advised drivers to avoid the area.
