Thousands of people are without power across British Columbia due to a powerful windstorm that is hitting the South Coast.
Stanley Park has also been closed and a number of BC Ferries sailings are cancelled due to the windstorm. The wind warning for coastal British Columbia is in effect for the next 9 hours.
Residents and media across the Lower Mainland have captured videos and photos of the storm and posted them on Twitter. The posts depict everything from massive waves at the Seawall to uprooted trees to what has been coined a "leafagaddon" - a gust of wind picking up a collection or leaves.
Have a look at some of the best photos and videos from today.
