With Elon Musk's actions in the American government, alongside American President Donald Trump, and on Twitter/X, the Tesla brand has been impacted.
In Vancouver, protests have taken place, the brand was removed from the auto show, and police have arrested one man for vandalizing a dealership.
Given the brand's current state here and abroad, V.I.A. polled readers, asking, (if money were not an issue) would you buy a Tesla right now?
And the answer was a fairly solid "No."
More than 90 percent of those polled said they would not consider buying a Tesla vehicle. And the answer was essentially the same when looking at just folks in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»versus the general readership. In both cases, more than 90 per cent are not interested in the once popular brand.
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» polled 1543 readers and asked the question: If you had the money, would you consider buying a Tesla right now?
The poll ran from 3/19/2025 to 3/30/2025. Of the 1543 votes, we can determine that 601 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:
