They're going to have to rewrite the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song for an upcoming 鶹ýӳGiants game.
Perhaps "They're heroes at the half boards, and they're green."
And no, the "green" part doesn't have to change. The Giants' typical home white jerseys are being exchanged this Sunday, Feb. 5 for something with a little more turtle power.
The WHL team will be , paying homage to the classic cartoon franchise (and some wild live-action films). It's not just the jerseys, too, with pants and shorts completing the green getup.
The jerseys are pretty involved, with yellow bellies, bandages and pads, a shell designed on the back, and a belt drawn on (with the Giants' logo as the buckle).
It's all a part of , and after the game, with proceeds going to the BC Children's Hospital. So far bids range from $0 to $450; people have until Feb. 6 at noon to participate.
