Police have announced the victim has the assault has subsequently died.
The 23-year-old man died in hospital.
The investigation is ongoing andno arrests have been made.

A man is in critical condition after he was assaulted on Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»police received reports of a man in critical condition near Main and East Hastings streets on Friday, Aug. 9 just after 1:30 a.m., according to a news release.
Police say he was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after the officers arrived.
The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Department (VPD)'s investigators believe the suspect and victim knew each other. There is no public safety risk.
An investigation is underway and no arrests have been made.
