Here's a sweet look inside the working of newspaper back in 1960. In this episode of "Follow Me", a program produced by CBC, host Sally Campbell gets taken on a tour of the paper, showing the process from the newsroom to the printing press and then to the streets where it was distributed.
How things have changed! The part where the story gets sent through a pneumatic tube to the "composing room" where they'd get set in type was particularly cool, and it'd be interesting to see CBC Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»do a retake of this segment 55 years later (yes, that's a challenge!).
