Mark Twain

Mark Twain visited Vancouver鈥檚 Opera House in 1895 as part of a speaking tour arranged to pay off his sizable debts. This famous photograph shows Twain laid up with a bad cold at the Hotel Vancouver, chatting with local reporters.
