Rising steadily for some time now, gas in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»hit a North American high of 142.5cents/litre on October 31, according to gas price watchdog site GasBuddy.com.
We've set a new record for highest average on this day (it's 141.2 cents/litre right now).
GasBuddy's analyst has that our high fuel tax of 49 cents per litre and lack of supply from the to meet our demand are largely responsible for the soaring cost of fuelling up.
