Heritage Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is doing its part to support local businesses as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to take its toll.
The independent, charitable non-profit society has launched an interactive online map that lists which neighbourhood businesses are still open during the COVID-19 pandemic, and includes information about how these businesses are currently operating and how the public can support them.
The list is organized into three categories - food and drink, groceries and small retail stores and services - while the map can be broken down by neighbourhood, ranging from the West End to Killarney and everything in between.
Users just need to click on a point on the map, or browse through the list, to find more information about the open businesses, like their locations, websites, opening hours, physical distancing measures, and the services they provide.
We've created an interactive map & list of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»neighbourhood businesses still open during the COVID-19 pandemic, broken down into areas, with info on how they're operating & how the public can support them... with constant updates!

Heritage Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»says it’s based this list off the City of Vancouver’s local area boundaries, but notes the map isn’t an exhaustive list and that information like operating hours, services, and closures can change at any time.
“We are doing our best to keep this list current and updated,” the society’s website explains.
“Local businesses are a key part of our collective social life."
While the Heritage Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Society does not endorse any of the businesses listed, it says its members believe in “the value that a thriving small business community contributes to a vibrant city.”
