The 2023 Celebration of Light went out with a bang Saturday night.
The final competitor in the annual fireworks competition, Team Philippines light up the sky above English Bay on July 29, delighting an audience that spread across Vancouver, and into North and West Vancouver.
Bringing hundreds of thousands of people out to look out over the ocean, the festival wrapped up after previously seeing displays from teams from Australia and Mexico earlier in July.
The show also included stage performances from Filipino artists, food trucks and more, depending on where you were in the city.
Here's how the last night of fiery explosions looked.
