If you plan on going for a walk in Vancouver today, be prepared for some stormy weather.
Environment Canada is calling for a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon on Thursday (April 21) as well as a 30 per cent chance of showers.
Thursday's forecast also includes winds of 20 km/h and up to 50 km/h near the water, with a high of 11°C and an overnight low of 6°C.
Friday is expected to see a respite from the dreary weather, with the national forecaster forecasting a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 13°C and an overnight low of 5°C. Following this, Saturday is looking even warmer, with bright sunshine and a high of 14°C expected during the day.
The wet weather is expected to return Sunday, however, as the forecast includes the possibility of showers throughout the day.
Monday and Tuesday are also looking wet, with daily highs averaging between 12°C and 14°C.
