Loving the smokin' hot weather?

While Environment Canada has ended its special weather statement for the Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­region, the forecast calls for more soaring temperatures this week. 

Starting on Tuesday, June 22, temperatures are expected to reach a high of 24°C on the coast and 28°C inland. However, with humidity these temperatures will feel more like 29°C and 32°C, respectively. 

While Wednesday is expected to see a mix of sun and cloud, temperatures are still expected to reach 22°C on the coast and feel like 25°C with humidity. Following this, Thursday is expected to see a 22°C high on the coast and a 26°C high inland. 

Heading into the weekend, temperatures are expected to climb a few degrees, with the highest daily temperatures on Saturday. The forecast calls for a high of 28°C on the coast and a sizzling 32°C high inland. 

On Sunday, a Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­city smashed an 83-year-old weather record over the weekend as temperatures continued to soar across the province.

While it's difficult to know how much rain Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­will see this summer, Canada's national weather forecaster says the region will likely see above-average temperatures.
