While the past week has been markedly drier, the Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast includes several days of sunshine starting on January 18, 2022.

After a long, near record-breaking cold snap at the end of December and several rainfall warnings to kick off the new year, it looks like Vancouverites might finally see a sunny departure from inclement weather this weekend.

While the past week has been markedly milder and drier, the Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast includes several days of sunshine starting before the weekend.

On Tuesday (Jan. 18), Environment Canada calls for periods of drizzle throughout the day with a high of 7°C and a low of 6°C overnight. Wednesday is also expected to see some drizzle during the day and rain overnight.

While Thursday is expected to be warm and wet during the day, the overnight forecast includes cloudy but dry periods.

Starting Friday, locals are expected to see a mix of sun and cloud for multiple days heading into next week. Daytime highs are expected to average around 8°C with overnight lows dropping just above freezing.
