Vancouverites who look forward to crisp, sunny fall weather might feel this week's forecast leaves something to desired...or a lot.

While locals enjoyed three sunny, clear days over the Halloween weekend, the spooktacular sunshine is expected to wane late Monday (Nov. 1) morning and transition to rain in the afternoon.

Environment Canada calls for the rain to continue through Monday night, with a break from the wet weather expected Tuesday during the day. However, Tuesday night is expected to be wet.

The rain is expected to continue through Wednesday and steady through the rest of the week. In fact, each day's forecast calls for rain rather than just a chance of rain.

Slightly warmer temperatures are expected due to the wet weather, with double-digit daily highs and lows ranging between 6°C to 9°C.
