Vancouverites hoping to get a tan this weekend might be disappointed.
As summer approaches its end in the Lower Mainland, the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast calls for a great deal of cloudy weather and a couple of opportunities for showers.
Starting on Thursday (Sept. 9), however, the forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud, with a high of 23°C except 26°C inland. With humidity, these temperatures will feel more like 26°C and 29°C, respectively. Temperatures are expected to dip down to a 14°C low overnight, followed by another day with a mix of sun and cloud and similar heat.
Saturday is expected to be cloudy and a few degrees cooler. This trend is expected to continue through the remainder of the weekend and into Monday, with daily highs of roughly 19°C and overnight lows of 12°C.
Starting Tuesday, the forecast includes opportunities for showers throughout the day.

Environment Canada is calling for a warmer than average autumn on the south coast of B.C. in its complete forecast released Sept.1 — the first day of meteorological fall.
This winter La Niña could also impact temperatures in the Lower Mainland region, as well as the amount of snow. Currently, the federal weather forecaster's models are indicating that there is a "medium" chance of a weak La Niña this winter but that its effects won't show until December.
