Ghosts and ghouls, take note: Vancouver's has risen from the dead for 2017.
Launched in 2006, the event took 2016 off, but is back to haunt the rails of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»this year for one spook-tacular night of public transit merriment.
Don your costume, charge up your Compass card, and climb aboard from a still-secret starting point on Friday, October 27. The Halloween SkyTrain runs from 8 to 9:30 pm and is completely free--not counting your transit fare.
The popular event will feature live music from DJ Rocky Fi$her, and the rolling party will gather more guests at every stop (whether they knew they were going to a party or not!).
Organizers with the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Public Space Network say the evening is a success if participants heed the ground rules, which ask that riders pay their fare, keep it chill and practice safety, be gracious to other riders and TransLink staff, and don't smoke.
When: Friday, October 27 from 8 to 9:30 pm
Where: SkyTrain; starting station TBD
Cost: Free with transit fare
