Hallmark Channel drops Lori Loughlin from Vancouver-filmed shows amid fraud charges

The Hallmark Channel has announced that it will no longer be working with actress Lori Loughlin amid allegations of college admissions bribery.

The Hallmark Channel has announced that it will no longer be working with actress Lori Loughlin amid allegations of college admissions bribery.

The American Pay television network added that it has ceased development of productions featuring Loughlin on all Crown Media Family Network channels. As a result, some of her longest running features, such as her role on Garage Sale Mysteries since 2013, has been cut short.

Similarly, Hallmark Channel tweeted that the When Calls the Heart series will not air on Sunday March 17. The network noted that they are evaluating creative options for the series, and that 'Hearties' should keep check back for updates.

Lori Loughlin Scandal

Lori Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, were charged with fraud on Tuesday, March 13. They have been accused of paying $500,000 for both of their daughters to gain entry into the University of Southern California. However, nearly 50 other people were also accused of college admission fraud in this recent FBI investigation.

Hallmark Channel films a number of its holiday films in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­as well as its year-round programming. Loughlin was in the city filming Garage Sale Mysteries when she was charged with fraud, but she currently resides in Los Angeles.
