'So green it blew my socks off': People are leaving reviews for a patch of grass in a Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»park

Some people find this grass particularly green.

People are reviewing a patch of grass at David Lam Park.

Given how much people love to share their opinions on the internet, perhaps it was only a matter of time until grass started getting reviews.

Over the last few months a patch of apparently very green grass in the middle of David Lam Park, dubbed "" on Google Maps, has been getting rave reviews. Marked with the app's symbol for a tourist attraction (a little light blue camera), the patch of lawn has been rated a 4.3 (in part due to a single 1-star review).

While there is a large grassy area, the reviewers seem enamoured by one patch.

"There's one particular spot that was so green it blew my socks off," reads one recent review. "We must do all we can to conserve the fantastic unique spot. The shade of green is out of this world, it may potentially be seeds from a supernatural species."

Perhaps unsurprisingly, a few couldn't resist making a joke about the grass being greener on the other side.

"Got here only to find it greener on the other side:(," writes the 1-star reviewer.

Where the other side is never made clear and perhaps a question for the nearby Existential Alley (which isn't an alley).

Why people began reviewing the spot isn't obvious either. There's no information about it; the about section only notes it's wheelchair accessible, which is a positive, but doesn't offer much historical context. It appears to be the only grass-based (as in lawn) tourist attraction in Vancouver.

It does seem like the grass is a popular feature of the park, though; reviews of David Lam Park as a whole frequently mention its greenery.

"Lots of green to sit on and relax, have a picnic, or throw a frisbee," writes one person on Google.

"There is a large, green lawn which is exceptionally maintained," notes a visitor on a review on TripAdvisor from a couple of years ago.
