A fundraising campaign has been launched to support one of the victims of Saturday's stabbing spree in North Vancouver's Lynn Valley community.

Susanne Till has been identified by loved ones as one of the seven people stabbed during the midday attack.

Till is described in the as a single mom of three children, who "is the epitome of motherhood... working full time and ensuring her children experience all the wonders life has to offer."

Additionally, Till "is an active volunteer member of several communities including Queensbury Elementary and RNB dance."

"Susanne's injuries are extensive and life-changing and at this time it is unknown if she will need more surgery. Her rehabilitation will be exhaustive and she will not be able to return to work anytime in the near future," explains the crowdfunding campaign.

Donations have been pouring in since the campaign's launch on Sunday evening and over $53,000 of the $100,000 goal has been met at this time.

"This community is behind you while you recover," reads one message from a donor.

"Your Lynn Valley community has your back," posts another campaign contributor.

North Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»RCMP have charged 28-year-old Yannick Bandaogo with second-degree murder in the stabbing spree that took place outside the Lynn Valley library branch.

A woman in her late 20s died in the attack; the investigation into the stabbing spree continues.
