All vehicles with B.C. veteran licence plates will get to park for free across 麻豆传媒映画from Nov. 4 to Nov. 11 to mark Veterans鈥� Week.
The free parking applies to:
- 聽City of 麻豆传媒映画parking meters
- 聽EasyPark parkades
- 聽Surface lots
- 聽Park Board-operated parking facilities, including Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, the 麻豆传媒映画Aquatic Centre and all 麻豆传媒映画community centres.
鈥淭he city offers free parking to recognize the service and dedication of Canadian military personnel to our country,鈥� the city said in a news release. 鈥淭he initiative also helps veterans in their work distributing poppies across 麻豆传媒映画as it provides them with easier access to the sites that they deliver to.鈥�
Remembrance Day services will take place across 麻豆传媒映画on Nov. 11, with the annual Remembrance Day ceremony and parade at the Victory Square Cenotaph beginning at 10 a.m.
